My father, Terence Hill, started his apprenticeship at Savile Row in 1959. After learning the trade as a bespoke tailor, he first opened the shop in Great Baddow, Chelmsford in 1978.
The business grew through word of mouth reputation and many of our early clients have stayed loyal to us over the years.
To this day Terry is still making tailored suits to the exacting standards he learned on Savile Row.
Following in the footsteps of my father, I joined the company as an apprentice in 1993. I was trained to the same standards as my father who took the time to ensure that the quality of the work we produced remained of the highest standard.
In 1998, we developed the business to introduce wedding suit hire. We started by acquiring 7 black tail coats for a family wedding. Since then, we have never looked back and now have hundreds of suits for hire that now include both Wedding Suits and Tuxedo’s.
